Troublemakers

Troublemakers Publishing describes itself as a Tokyo-based publishing studio that tells stories of misfits (トラブルメーカーズは、ミスフィッツのストーリーを伝える出版スタジオです). The magazine is published in English and Japanese, edited by Yuto Miyamoto with art director and editor Manami Inoue. Its second issue gathers interviews, a gender-dystopian short story, a photo series on Nikkei identity and an essay on Kurdish workers in Tokyo, around people who have made a place to call home out of family, roots, education or a small café.
