Desired Landscapes

Desired Landscapes calls itself a small publishing house where print co-exists with walking tours, collectively exploring the sense of place through visual culture; its motto is 'we read to walk and walk to write'. It says the magazine is pocket-sized and comes from a minimal mindset, studies the sense of place through visual culture, observes patterns yet seeks to preserve heterogeneity, and is written by the people shaping today's cities. It is founded and edited by Natassa Pappa, with a named team of designers, contributing editors and photographers. Alongside the magazine the imprint runs walking tours, writing clubs and gatherings.
